New Analyst Coverage Starting

ARC Advisory Group has recently begun coverage of the supply management space. I was able to do a briefing with Clint Riser a couple weeks ago which was previewed on their website. ARC plans to have a comprehensive report on the space soon, which is great news, as general sourcing coverage has really exploded over the last year. No longer are there just a small number of analysts that have any knowledge of the space and the increased competition should make the reports more detailed and valuable.

ARC is focused on the manufacturing/industrial space, so the functionality from i2 scoring well makes sense. This report will have a wide range of companies reviewed and should be interesting. ARC’s focus also made our sourcing optimization functionality impressive but they are concentrating on Supplier Relationship Management which not our core competency, so I expect that to be stated in the findings. I should be receiving a copy and will post some comments at that time.
