I have mentioned the Aberdeen survey and related survey findings here over the last few weeks. The report is now available and readers of E-Sourcing Forum can get a free copy of the report:

I plan to go into more detail of the findings soon and will relaying my own conclusions and discussing some of the survey results with Andrew Bartolini in the coming days. This is a very interesting and important research study from the supply management and eSourcing perspective as it addresses how companies are using and succeeding with eSourcing tools. There should be very good information that shows how deep the usage is and the value being extracted by users beyond simple price-focused reverse auctions or sealed bids.
