Pros to Know - Addendum

March 16th, 2007 at 07:27am David Bush - Iasta

Just a quick note, I think it is worth pointing out that Michael Lamoureux was not on the list this year but I have no doubt this will be the last year of that omission. Consider this post the first recommendation submittal for him in 2008. I have yet to meet some one that has so broad of a spectrum of knowledge in supply chain with a never ending capacity for more information. I like to think of him as the Sylar of Supply Management, criss-crossing the country absorbing the all the knowledge and powers of others. Of course, he is doing this without being a pathological serial killer that leaves behind gruesome crime scenes (I think)…

I doubt it … now that the world knows I look like Borat when I go to the beach (see this Spend Matters post), they’ll assume I’m stark raving mad even though I’m not a serial killer. (Seriously, who would have thought anyone else would actually wear a haircut and moustache as bad as the toupee and fake moustache I went to great lengths to find!)

    David:

Couldn’t agree more. In addition to his expertise and insightful commentary, Michael is a true promoter of the blogsphere, having shepherded many a valuable initiative to get the spend/supply management bloggers opinions on key topics — like the future of sourcing and top picks for 2007.

I’m certain Michael will be atop the list next year.

    Tim
