Yesterday, I was in the Northeast at a new Iasta client for a kick-off/launch meeting. In attendance for the 2+ hour meeting were the 11 top executives at this company including the CEO, the President and 9 VPs, including the VP of Human Resources who was very interested in her own categories. This was a great meeting and I mention it because this organization is taking the beginning period of the eSourcing deployment, very seriously with complete executive endorsement and plans to really lean on our eSourcing tools for many strategic initiatives.
Later today, I will be posting an article which started to follow the 3 hot topics in sourcing but I changed gears and decided to go long on adoption, adoption, adoption. Look for my extended post on this later today.
