When the levee breaks

One of the fun parts of my job, is that I still get to go out around the country and gives sales presentations and onsite meetings. This is usually a very enjoyable exercise where I can interact with sourcing professionals and get direct feedback about what is going on with the eSourcing market.

Enough with the monotony of work! So..I am walking in one of the busiest areas of the 2nd City, right at the Chicago River on Michigan, and notice a little crowd gathering around and some film equipment. I end up stopping to take a look in, well away from the core action, when the film shoot breaks up and starts migrating right in front of me. Within a few seconds, I am 10ft from the baddest man in the NFL.

Right when I was ready to run some Colts smack, I realized I had a Friday afternoon drive through the loop and picking a fight with Urlacher would just extend my commute by not getting out of the hot zone before 3pm. Otherwise…

(notice how he wouldnt make eye contact with me)
