Financial Print

In this sluggish economy, companies are looking more and more to their sourcing organization to provide measurable year over year savings. After capturing low hanging fruit, sourcing professionals are evaluating the once ‘sacred cow’, ‘non-penetrable’, and ‘difficult to source’ categories. The recent downturn in capital markets provides a unique opportunity for companies to evaluate, source, and reduce financial print costs – costs related to shareholder reporting, financial transactions, compliance services, etc.

Once merely a ‘cost of doing business’, and a small price to pay after endless revisions and countless tight deadlines, financial print is emerging as a center-stage cost reduction opportunity – doubly so, as regulatory changes and compliance come under scrutiny.

Financial print suppliers are key partners in your company’s success. They understand speed and accuracy and have personnel, infrastructure and distribution systems to support those requirements.

We recently assisted a client in evaluation of financial print suppliers against client ‘critical to quality’ (CTQ) requirements. In addition to sizeable savings in document creation costs, and significant printing and distribution savings, the client gained a crucial business partner/supplier who is providing additional value-added services in a win-win situation.

Another example of how a good sourcing process can provide significant contributions during weak economic times.
