The only thing I'd add is a suggestion that buyers include an example in the contract. That way, both parties can just plug in the new numbers and reach the same result. Finally, I am amazed to encounter situations where the buyer not only relies on the supplier to provide the new prices but then doesn't verify them. There is absolutely no excuse for this!
